Ji is for customers who want a more layered straight cup and a stronger umami impression.

Traditional usucha

Sieve 3g Ji. Add 150ml warm water at 55C. Whisk quickly until smooth and fine foam forms.

Shorter, stronger cup

Use 3g Ji with 100-120ml warm water at 55C when you want the umami to feel more concentrated.

Premium latte

Use 4g Ji with 30ml warm water at 55C, then add 100-120ml milk for a richer ceremonial latte.

Best for slower tasting. Start unsweetened so the deeper umami stays clear.
