Ran has enough body to stay present with milk, syrup, fruit, and dessert ingredients.
Hot matcha latte
Sieve 5g Ran. Add 30ml warm water at 55C and 7-10g brown sugar if wanted. Whisk smooth, then add 100-120ml hot milk.
Iced matcha latte
Sieve 6g Ran. Add 30ml warm water at 55C and optional syrup. Whisk smooth, then pour over ice and 120ml cold milk.
Prep-ahead base
For cafe service, blend 60g matcha with 400ml water at 55C and 50ml syrup. Use 50ml base with 200ml milk and ice for a 16oz drink.
Creative drinks
Use Ran when the recipe has milk, fruit, chocolate, or dessert flavours and you still want the matcha to show.
Sieve first for a smoother cup. Serve immediately after whisking so the colour and foam stay fresh.
